​The Ba Project

Every year, the 'Bas' (grandmothers) get a box of sweets for Diwali, 'soonth golis' in winter , mangoes in summer, a sari and several hugs from the volunteers! In return they get to sing bhajans with them, learn garba and get a million blessings.

We volunteer at the pay-it-forward Seva Cafe and with the organization Manav Sadhna

The Cancer Ward Project

We visit the Children's Ward in the Cancer Hospital and distribute toys, socks and hats knitted by volunteers.

Feeding the Street Children

We feed the street children through the organization Vishwa Shanti.

The Servaveda Foundation focuses primarily on an organization called Aastha (or Samaj Sangh) based in Ahmedabad, India. They have four centers in Ahmedabad with high schools, preschools, senior citizen homes, physical therapy centers, computer centers, etc. We also volunteer with several others and are always on the look out for more grass-roots efforts and needs for other people in the community. 

The Preschool Project

We renovated the schoolroom, gave the kids backpacks, clothes, toys and added swings and slides to their playground.

​We also provide medical emergency kits every year. 

The High School

We teach the girls English and and award scholarships. We love treating the girls to ice cream every year and throw in some chaat parties.

We give them agendas and matching sweater uniforms.
